This copy credits Nicolino. The editor and commentor was Bernardino Partenio, of Spilimbergo, a noted classicist and humanist. Horace was the leading lyric poet of ancient Rome, who flourished in the age of Augustus Caesar. Quite a scarce work, rarely appearing for sale at auction or otherwise. Noted in Brit. Mus. Cat. And H. M. Adams, Cat. Of books printed on the continent of Europe, 1501-1600. OCLC 77647447. PLEASE CONTACT US VIA THE EMAIL LINK TO PURCHASE THIS TITLE.
